This website is a static site. It does not have a contact form, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not set cookies of its own. See our cookie policy for detail.
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, your IP address is transmitted to Google as a technical necessity of serving the font. We do not receive or store that information. If you would prefer this not to happen, most browsers allow you to block third-party font requests without affecting the site's usability.
When you contact us. If you call or email, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your contract or circumstances.
When you use our services. To run payroll or file a return we need information such as your name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number, Unique Taxpayer Reference, bank details, timesheets and details of your income and expenses.
When you use the calculator. The take-home calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to us and are not stored.
Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running our business and responding to enquiries.
We share personal information only where necessary:
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
We keep payroll and tax records for at least six years after the end of the relevant tax year, as required by HMRC. Enquiries that do not lead to a service being provided are kept for a shorter period and then deleted.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, contact us at info@tjlcontractors.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Payroll and tax data is held in systems with access limited to staff who need it to do their job.
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page. This policy was last reviewed in 2026.
